Finals are finally over! (My last one ended at 4 pm on the 22nd! Lame schedule this year.) In any case, I'm not over the river and through the woods at grandmother's house and ready for Christmas! Thanks so much to TBQ for the lovely Xmas card...it turns out that I will be sending New Years cards out this year...I suck! :) Anyway, I hope everyone's having a nice break...Happy Holidays!

Well, obviously yes. But! This is a really interesting essay about just how much more of a homophobe he is than other justices that have handed down anti-gay rulings. I also find it interesting simply on the grounds of language and how groups identify and...go read! :)

So, my computer is finally fixed and returned to me, now with a bigger hard drive (bonus!). Very, very exciting news.

I have recently been filling my time reading the Alice books by Phyllis Reynolds Naylor...somehow it is very relaxing to read children's/teen books as a break from work. I can't read adult novels because they always seem to end up being depressing. :) I am nearing the end of this series, however, so if anyone has ideas on fun books about teenage girls, let me know. I've also burned through Lois Lowry's Anastasia Krumpnick books...fun!

I sadly still have not seen Serenity. The bf and I are planning to go at some point, but haven't made it yet. Soon, hopefully!

So, I finally had to give up and reinstall Windows. On the positive side, I was able to back up all my data. On the negative side, I forgot about all my pretty fonts, and it took forever and was exhausting. Whew! But, I finally have a computer that seems to work and not explode every two days. This is good. I really am not feeling the energy to go to class tonight, though! Bleh.
